Floor Maintenance
Over
a
period
of
time
dirt
and
grime
can
build
up
on
your
floors
which
can
leave
them
looking
dull
and
dirty.
In
hallways
main
traffic
areas
can
look
uneven
and
scratched
and
once
polished
floors
can
turn
yellow
or
hazy
from
degrading
over
time.
Our
staff
at
Innovate
Hygiene
is
trained
in the correct methods and use of all our floor scrubbing equipment.
We
use
a
rotary
floor
scrubber
to
first
scrub
the
floors.
The
floor
scrubber
applies
a
combination
of
water
and
environmentally
safe
multipurpose
degreaser
to
the
floor
which
allows
the
scrubber
to
break
up
the
dirt
and
grime
that
is
on
the
floor
more
effectively.
If
the
floor
has
been
previously
polished
we
use
an
environmentally
safe
floor
polish
stripper
to
strip
the
layers
of
polish
from
the
floor.
We
can
also
de-lime
newly
grouted
floor
tiles
with
a
specialised floor de-lime detergent.
Once
the
floors
have
been
scrubbed,
the
excess
dirty
water
and
debris
is
gathered
by
using
a
wet
pick
up
vacuum.
If
so
desired
we
can
polish
certain
floor
types
by
applying
3
coats
of
a
high
gloss non-slip metallic polish. The polish is applied with an applicator.
Spray Buffing
We
also
offer
a
service
of
maintaining
your
polished
floor.
We
first
vacuum
the
floor
to
remove
any
dirt
and
debris.
The
floor
is
mopped
to
remove
any
remaining
dust
particles.
A
specialised
spray
is
applied
to
the
floor
in
sections
and
the
floor
is
machine
buffed
using
a
high
speed
buffer
(800rpm)
to
bring
up
the
shine
in
the
floor
once
more.
For
domestic
household
floors
a
special
floor maintainer can be applied by a mop to maintain the shine.
A
Floor
Scrubber
is
a
powerful
floor
cleaning
machine
designed
for
surfaces
that
need
to
be
scrubbed
with
a
chemical
solution.
Whether
you
have
tiles,
laminated,
painted,
or
marble
floors we will scrub it pristine clean!
Buffing
floors
removes
the
surface
scratches
revealing
a
fresher,
flatter
surface.
This
surface
will
reflect
light
more
evenly
and
give
off
a
shinier
glow.
Buffing
reduces
the
need
to
strip
the
finish
from
floors
as
often
to
achieve
this
glossy effect.
We
regularly
buff
flooring
in
offices,
schools,
hospitals and other public buildings.
